Another doll lover! I have several, but not as many or as lovely as yours. When my daughter was 6 (oh so many years ago..grin) I bought her a Bye Lo Baby that she still has. After several years of being played with, the fingers missing and the clothes gone, I crocheted her a dress and bonnet, made her an underdress and she still sits on DD's shelf.

Gorgeous hat! Looking forward to seeing it on you. I finally got (most of) the yarn to do mine (missing 3 colors, but I think they're in the mail now). I know I should try something simpler first ....

Oh, and thanks to Genia for the links to the generic Norwegian mitten chart.

Beautiful!! Hello Yarn has a ready made graph for mittens if that's what you're looking for. Go to www.helloyarn.com and click on the free patterns, the graph is there. Even shows you where to start the decreases for the tops.

Have fun! Can't wait to see what you come up with.

What in the world is BIL? I don't think I've ever been called a BIL. It was a very warm hood that kept the dust out of my face as well. I hope I didn't look that scary when I wore it! Thanks for the hats and everything else.

The cables look fine. I too, am also not using a cable needle, but I do take them off the needle and turn them around before knitting........
